New Delhi: Skoda Auto India has revealed the price of SUV Kushaq in India.
It aims to lock horns with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

While Hyundai provides Creta in six variant options – E, EX, S, SX Executive, SX, SX (O).
Kia Seltos only has two trim – GT and GT Tech lines, and seven sub-variants.
Price: Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos starting from Rs 10.50 Lakh, Rs 9.99 Lakh and Rs 9.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).
All top products at Rs 17.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Machine and Transmission options: Skoda Kushaq offers 1.0 liters of gasoline TSI and 1.5 liter TSI gasoline engine options.
Good machine has MT 6 standard speed.
1 liter engine produces 115ps power and 175 Nm of torque while the 1.5-liter engine produces 150ps power and 250 nm of torque.
While the 1.0-liter option has an optional 6-speed on the torque converter, 1.5 liters have an automatic 7-speed DSG optional.
Hyundai Creta is available in two choices of gasoline and diesel engines.
It comes with gasoline 1.4 liter Kappa Turbo GDI, petrol mpi 1.5 liters and a 1.5 liter U2 diesel unit.
Transmission options include 6-speed manual gearbox, DSG 7 speed and IVT.
Kia Seltos packs engine options and identical transmissions.
The 1.4-liter engine provides 140 PS power and 242 Nm of torque.
A 1.5-liter gasoline engine provides 115 ps power and 144 Nm of torque.
Diesel variant is powered to start 115 PS power and 250 Nm of torque.
Kushaq color choices are offered in five color choices: orange honey, red tornado, candy white, silver and carbon steel reflexes.
Hyundai Creta is present in nine color choices: polar white, red mulberry, deep forest, orange lava, silver typhoon, black phantom and gray titan, polar white with phantom black black.
Kia Seltos is available in 12 colors: Punchy Orange with white cancel, intense red with aurora black pearl, silver steel with punchy orange, pearl white glacier with orange punchy, glacier white pearl with black aurora pearl, aurora black pearl, gray gravity, gray gravity, gray gravity Silver steel, white pearl glacier and intense red.
The Skoda Kushaq dimensions are 4,225 mm long and 1,760 mm wide and 1,612 mm high.
Creta and Seltos, on the other hand, similar dimensions.
The Hyundai Creta steps are 4,300 mm long, 1790 mm wide and 1,635 mm high.
The Selto is 15 mm longer and 10 mm wider than Creta.
Kushaq, however, had the biggest wheelbase at 2,651 mm against 2,610 mm in Creta and Seltos.
Meanwhile, the Creta and Seltos boot room stood at 433 liters against 385 liters at Kushaq.
Skoda Kushaq was launched in India at Rs 10.50 lakh; Craslier from Creta, Seltoswarranty: Kushaq offers a 4-year-old / 1,00,000 km warranty, can be extended for up to 6 years / 1,50,000 km.
In addition, Skoda will also offer a 2-year warranty, a 2-year battery warranty, a 3-year paint warranty, a 6-year corrosion warranty and an expanded roadside assistance program of up to 9 years.
Kia Seltos offers a 3-year / 1 kilometer warranty while Creta is equipped with a warranty of 3 to 5 years (1 lakh to 50,000 km).
