Gurgaon: Corporation Municipal Gurgaon (MCG) has directed officials to ensure strict compliance and increase the number of Challan to dispose of litter and garbage disposal on the road, illegal disposal of construction and disassembly (C & D) waste, waste water, water waste, and Use of plastic bags in addition to other violations throughout the city.
The deputy commissioner of the city, Vijogal Yadav, said the amount of fine incurred was very lacking.
“I have directed all the challengers to do their duties sincerely and improve the challenger process.
I also direct them to accelerate the recovery process because recovery is also very lacking.
The Commissioner also expressed displeasure on this problem,” Jadav added.
From April to December, the corporation has issued 351 Challans of Rs 70 Lakh for illegal disposal of C & D waste, 140 Challans for city waste disposal on the road and streets, 545 Challan was issued for illegal advertising appearance, 33 Challan was issued for waste of water by RS 45,000 and 1,816 Challans for plastic use for RS 13 lakh songs.
Officials have been directed to examine senior sanitation violations and inspectors, assistant engineers and junior engineers have been directed at issuing them.
