Smart City: Trichy Body Launches Website

Trichy: Trichy Corporation on Saturday launched a website – www.smarttrichy.in – to reveal its activities under the Smart Cities mission.
The website will be updated regularly to show future projects and ongoing activities, the Civic body said.
This website has a complaint lodging feature.
“Residents can file complaints under five categories, images can also be uploaded.
The number of unresolved complaints will be checked every day to offer the earliest solution,” said an official.
This website also has features such as geographic information system mapping (GIS), smart city mission proposals and contact numbers of corporate officials.
The Civic body says more features will be included on the website by coordinating with other departments, including transportation and district administration.
