New Delhi: With the exam for the first year of Delhi University students is scheduled for next month, several universities plan to hold classes in hybrid mode, giving students options to choose from their choice mode.
Du College is set to reopen and continue the offline class from February 17.
Some universities, including Miranda House, will hold classes for first year students in hybrid format, while second and third students must attend class directly.
“We will have educational mode and mixed / hybrid students will be given academic support to relieve stress,” said Head of Mirandaxmi Nanda’s house to PTI.
He said the second and third students will learn in offline mode but they will also be given academic support through online materials.

The upcoming exam is the reason why first year students will be given the option to attend online classes.
“We have received the maximum request from them (for offline classes).
Secondly, they only have 20 days online exams,” answered Nanda when asked about it.
Likewise, Rajdhani College will hold only online classes for first year students.
Aryabhatta College Principal Manoj Sinha said there would be no pressure on students to attend classes and they tried to ensure that students can be given lectures online.
“We are thinking about solutions such as giving online lectures, besides trying to provide technical support to students,” he said.
Even Hansraj College has a plan to offer hybrid study modes to first year students.
Delhi University Colleges was closed in March 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The university has provided an edge over the commencement of a practical session in February last year, but after the emergence of the second wave, the class was suspended in March.
In September, the University allowed undergraduate and postgraduate students last year back to campus, but his presence was thin.
