Well, sometimes you say certain things to people and it changes their lives.
Lata Mangeshkar once told her husband Sonu Walia Pratap Singh after she sang the song she heard, “you genius”.
Consequence? Sonu Walia (who acted in ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’ and many other films) became very impressed with Mr Pratap with whom he then tied the knot.
“We are still dating later.
When Lata Ji tells him that, I think ‘Wow, Lata Ji said it.
It was ultimate praise.
Slowly, I was getting closer to him.” Pratap Singh no longer – he died in 2009- but Sonu and he led a very happy wedding life until then; Touch wood.

Sonu was not ready to accept that Lata Ji was no longer with us.
“He can’t leave, he won’t,” he said firmly.
“I met him many times.
Every time he appeared as a loving person, loving, and caring.
He has the capacity to make you feel that you are part of him.”

Sonu added, “I often tell him that it is my dream that I have to sing like you but it will not happen at least in this lifetime.”
“Lata Ji is identical to every moment of childhood.
He is in the beautiful moments it lies me and millions.
He might sing with angels now.
He can’t leave.
It’s his inheritance,” Sonu signed.
