MADRID: The Spanish authorities say Sunday that the country has started a new evacuation operation to extract more Afghans and their families lags behind the Taliban Afghanistan takeover.
The Spanish Ministry of Defense confirmed to the relevant press media report that he worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a new evacuation mission.
The ministry said it would not provide details again to protect the mission, but the Spanish news agency Efe reported that the plan issued around 200 people through Pakistan.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Albares visited Pakistan and Qatar last month to ask their help in extracting more Afghan workers who have not been included in the first air force from Kabul.
Spain managed to evacuate around 2,200 people – Spain and Afghanistan – in panic days after the Taliban takeover in August.
