Thiruvananthapuram: The crime of violence reported in the district for the past 48 hours shows that special steps launched by the police to curb criminal activities seem to fail to create a prevention effect on criminals.
Two special anti-crime drives occur in the district – ‘Operation Caval’ below the city police limit and ‘Trojan Operations’ are below the border of the rural police district.
