Prasagraj: In an effort to make Ramlela’s performance more attractive to the audience, the technical team of five members appointed by the Patchatti Ramleela committee gave the best effort to make various episodes from Ramlela conducting special effects using special effects.
Interestingly, the technical team has prepared a large efigity of brother Ravan Kumbakarakan that Bhujas (arms) and the neck will be separated from his main body and Ephigas will be folded so Lord RAM shooting arrows to kill kumbhakan on the ninth day in Ramlela.

“We made a sincere effort to represent the scene as mentioned in the Bible with the help of technology before the audience because it would make Ramlela more special and interesting,” said Ram Chandra Patel, an Octogenarian who heads the technical team.
He also said that the technical team had made settings for the efficient particular character to be shown to fly to make episodes from Ramlela more alive and charming for the audience.
Patel said, “The technical team works tirelessly to provide energetic space and animated platforms for all artists during the episode of Ramlela.” This year also, the technical team has succeeded in building “Kumbakarantis” efigsi which will be high in 25 feet, made of fiber and iron layer through mechanical supporting devices.
RAM Chandra Patel, who was 81, who retired from the Ministry of Education approached two decades ago, has been linked to the Patchatti Ramleela committee since 1998, providing technical support to Ramlela.
He was credited by introducing several new elements in the oldest Ramlela in the city.
“We also present each episode of Ramlela with special effects to the audience that they have not witnessed before,” Patel said.
“Appreciation on the audience part is a real gift for the team,” he added.
He also acknowledged that it was the hard work of all teams including artists who play different characters who coordinate and work together for each scene before finally being staged.
