Guwahati: The Chairman of Himanta Minister Buswa Sarma has warned his employees not to try to sanctify the government by deceiving special four-day leave in the new year from Thursday, which has been permitted by the state government to spend quality time or in-laws.
Speaking to MediodPersons on Sunday, Sarma asked employees, aspiring to take advantage of leave, to get ready to complete a dozen photos to prove that they lived with their parents for four days.
While the state government has allowed going on Thursday and Friday, special leave will stretch the weekend vacation on Saturday and Sunday – making it a four-day vacation.
The government’s sources said that even though the state government decided to leave the four-day leave for noble purposes, many officials planned to go looking for tourist destinations, leaving their parents or old-in-laws alone at home.
“Officials who want to use a four-day leave must apply before their higher officials, trying to leave.
They will not get leave unless they register.
Immediately after returning from leave, they must provide around 10 to 12 photos to prove they are With their parents or in-laws for four days, “Sarma said at His first initiative, which might also be treated as a leave for Geriatic care.
In the field of field assignments, health officials, and other employees, related to emergency services, will be able to take advantage of leave but in the next four months and in phase so people do not lose government services.
He said even if some employees decided to visit several religious or other places with parents or in-laws, photographic evidence must be delivered before senior officials.
“We will also open the portal where employees must upload photos, so that Assam people can see how they spend leave.
Do they travel to another place or stay at home, together they must be in one frame,” Sarma added.
He said employees who failed to submit photos with their parents or in-laws, leave their two days (on Thursday and Friday) will be adjusted to casual leaves.
The Country Cabinet in November created two-day deadline terms.
The Chairman of the Sarma Minister itself has been strict to ensure that government employees do not leave their helpless parents.
“The environment in Assam has changed.
I have full confidence in government employees and hopefully no one will try to deceive the government,” Sarma said.
CM said for next year, he planned to provide annual leave sanctions to allow government officials to visit religious and tourist destinations.
