Vadodara: The clinical chemistry lab of this SSG Hospital (SSGH) was awarded a certification by the National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (NABL).
The lab was working overtime to run evaluations of Covid-19 patients admitted at the clinic.
The lab run by the biochemistry section of the hospital ran 5.37lakh evaluations in 10 weeks from August, 2020 to May this season.
In this time , it ended the job of obtaining the NABL certificate.
The preparation and documentation for the certification was shot up from the division in communicating with senior officers of this hospital.
A committee was formed from the hospital superintendent Dr R Y Aiyer to observe the procedure.
