Ahmedabad: A 22-year-old woman and her mother’s uncle has tried to kill his stepmother over domestic disputes, at Survivor’s house in Naranpura.
Rani Khambholja, 34, a resident of Navnirmannagar Society in Naranpura, said in the Firy submitted to the local police that the attack occurred on Thursday.
He said at that time, her 52-year-old husband was not at home.
Khambholja, who came from Uttar Pradesh, married Mayur after falling in love with him in 2016.
On Thursday at around 2:00 p.m., when Khambholja was at home with my father’s father’s father, Uncle Shatnank Pandit Shashk Manushi came.
Khambholja asked the pandit why he came without telling family members.
He angrily told him that he came to visit his niece.
Khambholja then starts watching TV in the living room.
He told the police that humans and Pandit began to whisper conspiracy.
After a while, humans went to the kitchen and took a cup of tea to Pandit.
Manushi also brought Alu.
Khambholja is still watching TV and does not pay attention to Manushi and Pandit.
Suddenly he rushed to Khambholja and hit him with Alu several times on his forehead.
Manushi covered khambholja’s mouth to press the scream.
“Pandit pushed me to bed, sat in my stomach, and slashed my throat to kill me,” Khambholja told the police.
“They constantly say that they won’t avoid me.” Khambholja said that he bit Manushi’s hand and shouted for help.
Pandit stabbed khambholja on the left side of his body.
Both of them then left the house and khambholja called her husband.
He rushed home and called the 108 ambulance who took him to the Civil Sola hospital.
Khambholja underwent two surgery for his head and in the abdomen.
A medical-legal case was submitted in the Civil Sola Hospital after Police Naranpura registered a complaint of murder attempts to humans and pandit.
Inspector A Jadhav from Police Naranpura said that humans and pandit have been detained and active investigations.
