Vadodara: Motorbikes from Gujarat seem to be quite popular in the district bordering Madhya Pradesh like Alirajpur and Jhabua.
It’s just that this motorcycle wasn’t made in Gujarat, but was stolen from Gujarat.
It has been known for a long time that the elevator vehicle from Alirajpur and Jhabua traveled to Dahod, Panchmahal, Chhotaudepur, Vadodara, and even Valsad, and even Valsad Regency to close the two wheels, but a series of incidents had been revealed since June.
In just the past three months, the Chhota Udepur police confiscated 57 stolen bicycles from 15 people.
In the same period, Dahod police looked down a dozen accused and won 19 motorbikes and SUVs (Mahindra Bolero) from them.
The source said that the network of people who were oiled properly stole vehicles and those who sold them operated from MP.
The past investigation also revealed that the gangs sell motorbikes even by receiving money with installments.
Motorbikes are sold cheaply in Jhabua and Alirajpur districts.
Every time the police have submitted the defendant in Dahod and the Chhota of the udepur, some such theft has been detected.
Together operation was also carried out in the past by Panchmahal, Vadodara Rural and MP police to break the gang operating on a large scale.
The Chhota Udepur police always look for bicycle thieves because of the district border with Madhya Pradesus porous neighbors and there are several interior roads to be smuggled easily from stolen bicycles.
“The gang sells this bike with a low of 10% of the price of the original purchase of vehicles.
And they only sell these bikes to people who will use it in Madhya Pradesh because there is a fear that the Gujarat police can catch them if the bicycle is brought back,” said Dharmendra Sharma, Chhota Udepur police supervisor.
Other senior officials said that gangs during the period of stealing this bicycle from various parts of the country and took them to the chhota udepur.
To ensure that they were not caught, gangs hid this bike in the forest and remote area close to the Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh border.
“Once a large number of bikes accumulated, they moved it to Madhya Pradesh,” the official said.
