Vadodara: All eyes are set at a syndicate meeting Monday at the University of MS.
Fireworks are expected to occur between two Safron camps from syndicate members – one that has accused serious irregularities in the recruitment process and others who enjoy the majority.
Towards a meeting on Monday, the controversy shed the streets on Sunday when a group of five syndicate members and the Senate reached the residence of the Dean member and syndicate in the Park Ellora area where the majority group held a “pre-syndicate meeting”.
“In the six meetings of the last syndicate, I never asked questions.
So, I was always invited to a pre-syndicate meeting.
But after we started questioning the recruitment process, they did not call me for a meeting.
This shows how the university system works,” said Hasmukh Vaghela , which together with the group held placards outside the residence of the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Professor of Psychology R Patel.
University officials have included an expert assessment agenda for Monday’s meeting.
But university officials themselves and groups that have a majority against making public experts assessments.
“We have never placed experts from the interview process in the public domain since 1949.
Let the syndicate members make a last call on this problem,” said Professor Vice-Chancellor Parimal Vyas MSU on Saturday.
The Sindik Group owned by the BJP-RSS camp has accused irregularities in teaching and promises that did not teach where representation was made even before the head of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel’s head and the Minister of State Education Vaghani.
Officials on the other hand have stated that all promises made before September 1 have been verified and examined by Kuningan over the State Education Department who have found anything unpleasant.
“If there is nothing wrong in the appointment, what the need to maintain such confidentiality,” Vaghela said.
On Sunday, the group accused irregularities in appointment of engineers at the university.
