VADODARA: Navrachana School-based School, the same as suspending offline learning mode for classes after one of the students and family members tested positive for Covid-19.
This is the first case in Vadodara where a student has been tested positive after the offline class begins again.
School officials said that on Sunday they were notified by parents of students who followed the offline mode of certain class learning was suspended for four days.
School continues with offline mode for other standards.
“Children and family members are under house quarantine with mild and fine infections.
There are no new cases reported,” said the Principal of Suprabha Menon.
Menon said that schools comply with all guidelines and protocols related to Covid behavior that are suitable for student safety, staff, and their families.
“We will continue to be vigilant and responsible at any time.
All the details sought by Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) officials have been provided by the school,” he said.
“The antigen test is quickly done by the VMC health department for the class teachers.
All are negatively tested,” he said.
But the Association of Vadodara (VPA) parents demanded action against school alleged that the Covid-19-related protocol was not followed at the school.
In a memorandum for Vadodara District Education Officers (DEO), Navneet Mehta, VPA alleged that the school retained the Ministry of Education and Health Officials in the dark even when the child had shown symptoms from Thursday on Friday.
Mehta told the Toi that the offline class was only one standard had been suspended by the school.
“Schools have taken precautions such as cleaning up the classroom.
It also tells all parents who ask them to test their environment,” he said.
