Mangaluru: Educational institutions in coastal districts have shifted from pre-recorded classes to online or live classes, from LKG to class IV.
Previously, for the convenience of parents and children, institutions have recorded classes.
However, after some time it was found that children did not have enthusiasm, as the monotonous class was noted.
“After we shift to the online class directly, we note there is an extraordinary increase in participation from each student.
They show involvement, because there are more interactions between teachers and students,” said Sister Melissa, head of Mount Carmel Central School.
The school has recorded classes to fourth standards.
Melissa said that when the class was continued after a pandemic broke, the old man was happy with the recorded classes.
When days passed, they began to complain.
“So this year, we actually turned to live online classes.
For the convenience of students, we have limited online classes to less than 20 students.
There is a morning and night class scheduled for the convenience of parents who work,” Melissa said.
Some schools slowly switch to online mode from the recorded class.
FR Robert D’Souza, Principal, Lourdes Central School, Bejai, said that it was only a class record for LKG to class III until the last academic year.
“At present, we have offline classes and recordings.
It gives children feeling class.
There is involvement, because teachers are doing various activities to keep children involved in all classes,” said FR Robert.
Mathew C Ninan, Director, Little Rock School India, Brahmavar, Udupi, emphasized that close watches are stored in each student, when the class is held online.
“There are 80% to 90% of attendance after switching to online class.
We have also recorded classes for those who have connectivity problems.” “My two children, studying in UKG and class VI enthusiastically with direct online classes, but do not like being recorded.
