Mysuru: Congress Leader Abdul Gafar Azad on Sunday said the leaders of the Congress inherent on minority cells had decided to resign to resigning Congress leaders who were dissatisfied with MLC CM Ibrahim during his visit to the city recently.
Former Minister of Teener Sait and others also welcomed Ibrahim on the same day, but the city congress unit suspended Khadar even before receiving the answer to the showcuse notice issued by the party discipline committee.
Bazad condemned the party’s decision to speak against Siddaramaiiah.
He said hundreds of party workers had planned to resign.
The Office-Bearer Mutahir Pasha also expressed his displeasure.
Their leader Khadar raised the problem of injustice to the minority community but did not talk against the party, he said.
He also condemned the unilateral decision of the President of Congress R Murthy from suspending Khadar and the Double Standard Discipline Committee.
