Rajkot: Marine police and the border security force team found a suspicious box with cylinder objects on the island near Jakhau Kutch beach on Tuesday night.
According to the police, the box seems to be a blank ammunition box.
It was filled with shells and sand.
When the box looked suspicious, it was thought that it contained explosives.
The object found in it is cylindrical and the length of 1.5 feet has a diameter of 2.5 inches.
Police call the bomb disposal squad and forensic team from Rajkot to check the object.
According to the source, it is believed that this box might have flown to the island of Pakistan.
Kutch Beach was alert after the seizure of a large drug consignment last week from the Port of Mungra.
