Vadodara: National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) organizes training programs for civil engineering students at Geo Technical Investigation Lab, which is considered the largest geotechnical laboratory in Asia, in letters.
The Laboratory was established for the High Railway Project Ahmedabad-Mumbai with M / S L & T which carry out civil work between Ahmedabad and Vapi.
The laboratory has produced work for around 900 people including engineers, technicians and skilled workers, said an NHSRCL official on Saturday.
This can do 3,500 tests per day through 20 geotechnical engineers and 188 lab technicians.
During training, students are accustomed to instruments used for various geotechnical investigations.
“The Bullet Train Project Ahmedabad-Mumbai has also provided encouragement to arrange local geotechnical investigations with labs to improve their old equipment.
About 15 Laboratories in Valsad, Letters, Vadodara, Anand and Ahmedabad have increased their infrastructure to comply with the international standards needed for the project .
The entirely automatic and semi-automatic soil test machine has been deployed at the project location, “the official said.
