Hyderabad: The artist who is physically challenged is 25 years old, tries hard to help those who are less fortunate than him.
Kovvada Swapna, which comes from AP ‘Srikakulam, is very popular on social media as a swapnika not only for the work of his art but also for the video he does.
Swapnika, who has completed his graduation, has saved a orphaned girl while taking care of her.
Swapnika, a talented artist, used a pencil with his mouth to create a portrait after both hands had to be decided on a surgically after an accident where he touched the electric wire living in 2007 in Hyderabad.
“When some people suggested to my mother that she had to give up on me, she refused to listen to them.
Because there was no money, she had to wait for three days to get financial assistance to finish the operation for the severe part affected by my hand,” Remember Swapnika about her mother Saraswati.
In the past two years, during the locking Covid-19, the Swapnika identified those who needed clothes, food, and other things and toured the villages that distributed them near their village in Srikakulam.
He worked closely with several NGOs and individuals, including distributing material provided by Cricketer Hanuma Vihari.
Actor Sonu Sood has also helped.
With some financial assistance he gets, he set up a bangle shop near his village, which hasn’t been fine because of a pandemic.

Oral artists have created more than 100 portraits, including movie stars in the last three years.
“I sell a portrait for a small number but there are some who see my physical condition showing their generosity by offering more money.
This money makes me think of those who are less fortunate than me and help them,” Swapnika told Toi.
He was in Hyderabad to hone his skills as an artist now.
Seeing his enthusiasm in the desire to help others, a social worker gets a blanket and makes them distribute it.
Swapnika and his mother get a monthly pension from the government Andhra Pradesh.
He wants to get government work to sustain his family.
“I’ve never been desperate.
I have passed fighters.
This is also the reason why I decided to help, especially with disabilities, in the days of their trouble,” said Swapnika.
