Hubballi: Pantu Johan Palmkvist, 43, a Swedish national, has asked for help from the police and Netizens of Hubballi-Dharwad to track his biological parents whom he claims come from Dharwad.
He said he was adopted by the Swedish couple when he was three years old and just remembered that he was from Dharwad.
Chat with TOI online, said Pantuu according to his memory, he was found at the bus stop in Dharwad and was adopted and taken to Sweden 43 years ago.
“I don’t know whether it’s a first name or name of my family and if it should spell panu or Panthu.
From my research, I think it will be Pantu, the most common in India and Romania.
I have learned that Pantu is a family name in Karnataka and me has appealed to everyone to write to me if they find people with the name or family name rhymes.

He said Pantu is not the name Kannada, so most likely his name can be Raghopanth, Madhavpanth etc.
Some netizens say that there is a village called Pant Balekundri, near Bellagavi, Where Saint with Pant Name.

He said that he remembered the house he lived with his parents had two rooms.

However, Pantu did not have a clear memory of how he landed in Sweden, how the Swedish couple adopted him and he refused to share more details about his adoptive parents in Sweden.
