Copenhagen: Two men died when one of them jumped or fell from the 7th floor of the cultural center in Sweden and landed on the other hand, the police said.
The 80-year-old man who hit the uppsala const and congress venue lobby on Tuesday night died on the scene in northern Stockholm, and the 60-year-old man he had bounced later, said the police.
A woman who with a 60-year-old man was injured but his wounds were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Tribute concert for both members of Abba Male, Bjorn Ulveus and Benny Andersson, have been scheduled at the Cultural Center on Tuesday night, but the event was canceled, according to Swedish media.
The Cultural Center in Uppsala City organizes concerts and other meetings in eight-story buildings with a mirror facade and sloping metal sheets that remind crystals.
The Venue website said it would be closed from Wednesday to Friday due to death.
“We are all surprised by tragic accidents and our minds go to the deceased, their relatives and their families,” said the message on the website.
The police said they had no reason to suspect a violation plan in the 80-year-old descent from the 7th floor.
