Swimmer injured when rescuing op near Tannir Bhavi

Mangaluru: A swimmer who is part of the local rescue team suffered an injury after his leg hit an iron thorn at sea in Tannir Bhavi on Saturday.
MOIDENEN MOHAMMED, 40, every day betting involved in drying fish and boat cleaning, is a wounded swimmer.
He is currently being treated at a private hospital in the city.
Moiden said that he was part of the five swimmer rescue team who hurriedly helped people and prevented them from drowning.
Likewise, on Saturday he received a call that a fisherman was trapped after the upside down fishing boat was around 100-200 meters from Tannir Bhavi Shore.
He ventured to the sea to find fishermen but unfortunately, hurt his legs, and had to be taken to the hospital.
The doctor advised him a month’s rest.
