Dubai: Winner of the T20 World Cup T20 Men will bring home the winner.
Check USD 1.6 million while runner-up will get half of that number, the International Cricket Council is confirmed on Sunday.
16 16 competing teams will receive part of USD 5.6 million allocated as a prize money for tournaments, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14.
The two semi-finalist loss will receive USD 400,000 each from the game taking place on November 10 and 11.

The teams confirmed to compete in the Super 12 stage are Afghanistan, Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and West Indies.
Eight teams that will lose the semifinal bed will get USD 70,000 each while the team eliminated in the first round will take USD 40,000.
The team that will try to make Super 12 is Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, the Netherlands, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, and Sri Lanka.
Just like in 2016, there will be a bonus amount for every match won by the team at the Super 12 Stage.
The winners in each of the 30 matches in the phase will win USD 40,000.
BREAK BREAK Increases a Christian, there will be two additional drink intervals scheduled in every match.
Every break will last for two minutes and 30 seconds and will be taken at the midpoint of each round.
The introduction of official drink breaks will help publishers get an advertising revenue worth five minutes and for Indian matches, prices are expected to be high.
