Cuddalore: Head of Judges Judge Nakwah and Cuddalore on Saturday was given a custody of one day from five people accused of killing a worker in the cashew nut unit – owned by the Cuddalore DMK MP Ramesh – to CB-CID.
The Investigation Agency begged the judge to provide two-day custody of five accused of being identified as a personal assistant of MP Natarajan, cheap factory manager M Kandavel, M Allah Pitchai, K Vinoth and Sundararajan to interrogate them in connection with murder.
However, the judge was given a custody of one day from five accused of the investigation body.
The CB-CID team took five accused of cashew nut units in Panruti and began interrogation.
The investigation body on October 13 took Ramesh to detention for questions.
CJM gave Ramesh’s custody to the Investigation Agency, which conducted an investigation within four hours and produced parliamentarians before the judge, who returned it in court custody.
Govindarasu from Melmampattu in Panruti, who has worked for the past seven years at TRV Gayatayiri Maches owned by MP died in mysterious state on September 20.
Meanwhile, District Judge Cupdalore, J Jawahar denied guarantees for MP after MP-CID advisor.
Registering a strong objection of agency argues that MP will try to influence witnesses in this case.
Advice said that the agency has so far interrogated 43 witnesses and will interrogate more witnesses in the coming days.
Agencies have also taken other five custody accused in this case and will cover more witnesses and collect more evidence against the defendant after interrogation.
Son G Senthilvel Govindarasu filed a petition before the judge on Saturday begged to put it as one of the parties in this case.
Advisor Senthilvel said the petition who was looking for a CBI investigation into Govindarasu’s death was waiting in front of Madras High Court.
He said the High Court had posted the next hearing on October 27 and begged the judge not to guarantee MP at least until then.
