Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu has 6.4 voters, men’s voters accounts for 3,12,26,759 of the total voters while there are 3,23,91,250 voters.
The state has 7,804 third gender voters.
The highest voters in TN are in the constituency of Sholinganallur assembly in Chengalpet which have 7,11,755 voters, followed by Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore while the lowest voters come from kilvelur in Nagapattinam Regency with 1.78,517 voters.
The selection roll saw the number of voters rising compared to the draft electoral roll released in November last year.
After the draft publication on November 1, 2021, claims and objections were accepted for a month.
During the revised period, 10.4 lakh applications for the inclusion of names received 10.2 recognized applications and names, said statement from the head of the main election.
