Jaisalmer: Team Expert 10 Members of Jal Jeevan Mission National visited the villages and hamlets in the Gadra Road Block and Ramsar regions in Barmer District on Wednesday.
The team has recently visited six Rajasthan districts, namely Baran, Dausa, Jodhpur, Barmer, Bhilwara and Jaipur.
The team plans to visit villages in these districts between 18 and 21 October, to discuss various points implementation of Jeevan’s mission with locals, Gram Panchayats, a member of the Water Committee and District Officers.
Members, for the past three days, took stock situations in many villages and hamlets in the Barmer district.
National Jal Jeevan Mission Gurupad Katta and Dhirendra Kumar with their team on Monday have a dialogue with the District Water and Sanitation Committee and on Tuesday, they see this project working in various villages in Baytoo.
In accordance with feedback, efforts are being made to advance JJM work in Barmer.
The central team, during their field visit, praised the participation of the local population in the village plan made for Bartmer District, the participation of all houses in the planned village of Baytoo and the JJM monitoring system at the Kankdo Water Committee.
Experts retrieve information about feeding data about imis, drinking water supply through taps in the center and schoolwari school, the process of testing water samples in the laboratory and about the action plan in the villages.

During a visit, Gurupad Katta said that the implementation of the JJM project on time was a top priority and in the coming days, the results would be good at Barmer’s works.
Official sources say that in accordance with the scheme, in Rajasthan, all rural houses in 2024 will get water in beats.
PM Narendra Modi on August 15, 2019 has announced Jeevan’s mission and at the time, from 1.01 crore rural houses in Rajasthan only 11.74 lakh houses have connections to tap.
With sustainable efforts in the last two years in rural areas, 9.48 lakh new tap connections have been given.
Now, the number of connections tap in the state has increased to 21.22 lakh.
