Hyderabad: A software engineer killed his wife and then tried to commit suicide at Bach> on Saturday.
The man struggled for life at the hospital.
They are married for more than a month.
“Since they are married, her husband, Kiran Kumar, and Sudha Rani (22) have often been fighting.
Her husband suspected his character.
On Saturday afternoon they also had an argument and Kiran slitting his throat using a knife.
He then cut himself in the bathroom,” ACP said ( Kukatpally Division) Chandra Sekhar.
The incident was revealed after the girl’s parents, who lived in Camereddy, came to their rented house in Pragati Nagar at around 3:30 p.m.
on Saturday.
Because there was no response even though he repeatedly knocked on the door, they called the locals and the police around 6pm and forced the door to open.
Sudha Rani was found in bed in a blood pool, while Kiran was lying in the bathroom in a state of unconscious with bleeding injury.
He immediately shifted to the hospital where he was declared in critical condition.
Later, his statement was recorded by Tahsildar.
The police have registered cases under IPC part 302 and 309 against Kiran.
