Nagpur: A 16-year-old girl has been running pillar to post for almost a year to get the error corrected late mother’s name, but to no avail.
Glitch has stopped STD XII student from completing the formalities for scholarships and some bank transactions because of the family name does not fit in with his mother.
Even after a year running from one department from another – aided by a cousin now – he has not found success.
With his mother separates from her husband about a decade ago, have only minor cousin for support.
Aachal Sauhare mother, Jyoti died by suicide at his mother’s place in babulkheda old on March 10, 2021.
He was rushed to the government medical college and hospital (GMCH), where he was declared dead on March 17.

Prachi Aachal Sahare cousin, who helps him now, said the variance in the name would be detrimental to academic if not promptly corrected.
“Authorities GMCH we want to seek help from the police, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) GMCH want to fix the problem.
The police wanted us closer to our court.
But no offer of help to us,” said Prachi.
Social activist Nutan Rewatkar has appealed to the police, the NMC and GMC to extend assistance to the girl instead of abusing it.
