Hyderabad: The Sungai Krishna (KRMB) Management Board has been, in two separate reports, informing National Green Tribunal (NGT) that has not received detailed project reports (DPRs) related to the Irrigation Scheme of the Palamuru-Rangeddy (PRLI) elevator and Dindi Lift Irrigation scheme ( Lis) from Telangana for board assessment.
KRMB has sent a report first as a response to the petition submitted in NID by nine residents of Andhra Pradesh against Telangana Pri.
The Board has submitted another report at NGT in response to the petition submitted by the government Andhra Pradesh against Dindi Lis.
“Pri and Dindi Lis in Telangana are listed as major, sustainable, unrespary and non-operational in Gazette.
The DPRS is required to be approved by the Apex Board within six months after the publication of notifications.
However, we have not received the DPR with respect to the Pri and Dindi Lis, “The executive engineer KRBM Iva Sankaraiah informs NGT.
He remembers that the notification clause states that if there are undecessive projects that are not approved in both countries must stop operating if they fail to get approval.
In accordance with the minutes of the second APEX board meeting was held on October 10, 2020, it was completed that the two countries would hand over the DPR new projects to the board immediately for the assessment and for the next sanction by the Apex Board.

Telangana also approved Rs 6,190 Crore for Dindi Lis, which imagined providing drinking water to areas affected by fluorosis and irrigation facilities to drought-prone areas in Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar.
