Hyderabad: Even when six positive cases of Omicron Covid-19 were detected in the city, the Saif authorities they had tested 637 people for the last 48 hours in living patients.
Many of them live in the area belong to various countries in Africa and there will be more tests carried out for the next few days, officials said.

The authorities also increase the use of cellular testing vans and other facilities as they have done during the first and second waves.
After the emergence of omicron cases in the city, the Ministry of Health officials have been directed to increase the number of tests.
Primary Health Center (PHCS) has been assigned to complete at least 50 RT-PCR tests per day without restrictions on antigen testing.
The Hyderabad district has been assigned a daily test of 5,000 tests.
Officials have also decided to further investigate those who have tested negatives at the airport.
This, as two people who have been detected by the Omicron variant have traveled from countries that are not in the ‘At-Risk’ list.
According to sources in the government, a high-level meeting of contact contacts will be held immediately with the chairman of the Minister and Minister of Health.
