Hyderabad: Against the Inter Board’s move to carry out the first year test to candidates promoted during a pandemic, students have started an online petition on Change.org demanding the cancellation of the exam.
About 17,000 have signed a petition, which was aimed at the Telangana government.
Varun Rao, who started the petition, said that the Telangana government put the health of students and their families at stake by conducting Inter’s first year test.
The Telangana government lets a piece of paper decide on health and well-being of more than 4 lakh students and their families.
If the government decides to conduct an inter-year offline exam first year, they must be fully responsible for the health of every student and their family, “Rao said.
Safe! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see the results of the request showing how many students might lose family members during a pandemic and may not be in mental state to write the exam.
If the country cannot cancel the exam, students must be allowed to decide whether to appear or not for this exam.
On September 24, the Telangana State Council of Secondary Education (TSBIE), who previously promoted secondary first year students to the second year without conducting a public exam because of a pandemic, announcing that Inter’s Inter’s examination 2020-21.
The academic year will start October 25, 2021.
In accordance with the board, the 70% syllabus will be considered for the exam.
“How will we manage the second year study and competitive examination? We cannot study the first year’s syllabus in the second year,” said Siddharth L, an Inter student, who signed the petition.
Many of them show that many universities have not resolved the first year syllabus because the physical class has been held almost a month.
Some show that they do not have textbooks or materials to be prepared.
