The Malaysian group has advanced to develop universities as group owners are followers of Acharya Nagarjuna.
The company also prepares the food processing industry in Siddipet.
Tourism Minister V Srinivas Good said that in addition to the Buddhist University, a monastery would be established by the Maha Bodhi Society, Bengaluru, and others by Taiwan-based Guang Shan monastery, a Chinese Buddhist monastery in Dashu District, Taiwan.
“The health center supported by the Dalai Lama will be regulated too, while Delhi-based groups want to build hotels for visitors,” he said.
Although Buddhavanam began during the Congress regime, the Government TRS traced the project and completed it at a cost of 68 crores.
