Telangana Records 207 New Covid-19, 2 Deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 207 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Monday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,421.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.66,753 and the death toll was at 3,923.
A total of 239 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,58,409.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.74 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Monday, 43,135 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.65 Crore and has reached 7.13 testing of the lakh sample per million population.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 61 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 14 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 12 and Sanga Reddy recorded 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and the edges, Karimnagar with 15 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
