Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 122 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Sunday.
The number of active cases in this country reaches 3.924.
The total number of cases from the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood 6.68,955 and the death toll was at 3,938.
176 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.61,093.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.82 percent now.
So far 79.78 percent of the total cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Sunday, 26,676 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.70 crores and has reached 7.26 lakh testing samples per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 55 cases on Sunday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 4 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 9 and Sanga Reddy recorded 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 9 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
