Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 171 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Thursday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,126.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.71,000 and the Death Toll was 3,952.
A total of 208 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,62,922.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.79 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 38,373 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the sample testing of 2.74 crore and has reached 7.38 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 58 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri near 11 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 13 and Sanga Reddy recorded 6 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 13 new cases each recorded the highest number of cases.
