Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 176 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Thursday.
The number of active cases in the country stands at 4,365.
The total number of cases from the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood at 6.67.334 and the death toll was 3,926.
A total of 216 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,59,043.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.75 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 37,857 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the testing of a 2.66 crore sample and has reached 7.16 lakh sample tests per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 53 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 7 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 14 and Sanga Reddy recorded 3 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 14 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
