Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 247 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Thursday, because the number of active cases in the country reached 4,877.
The total number of cases from the start of Coronavirus’s pandemic last year, stood 6.64,411 and the death toll was 3,909.
315 patients recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,55,625.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate pitched at 98.67 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in this country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 51,521 samples were tested for Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.60 crore samples and has reached 7 lakh sample testing per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 71 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 13 cases.
Ranga Reddy recording nine and Sanga Reddy recorded one case.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 21 new infections recorded the highest number of cases.
