Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 248 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 4,701.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.64,898 and the death toll was 3,912.
324 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.56.285.
The level of case fatality (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.70 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Saturday, 52,702 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed a sample of 2.61 Crore samples and has reached 7.02 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 66 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 10 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 18 cases recorded 5.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edge, Karimnagar with 21 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
