Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 255 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the state stand at 5,148.
The total count of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.63.281 and the death toll was 3,903.
329 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.54,230.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is at 98.63%.
So far, 79.8% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been flexible.
On Saturday, 52,244 samples were tested for novel coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.58 crore and has reached 6.93 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 70 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajiriri neighbor recorded 14 cases, Rangareddy recorded 16 cases and Sangareddy recorded three cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and the edges, Khammam with 22 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
