Hyderabad: A car driver died and 13 others on the bus injured after a quick vehicle hit the RTC bus near the Manthani on Wednesday morning.
The two vehicles fell into the hole beside the road, killing the car driver in place.
The car driver, T vineet, was on his way from Khansaipeta Village to Manthani when he lost control at Gadiantagutta and collided with the upcoming bus.
“Vineet applied the brakes suddenly when looking at the bus and the car turned right.
After hitting the bus, the car fell from the road to the hole.
In his efforts to avoid the car, the bus driver turned the vehicle and it also landed in the hole,” said the chandrasekhar .
“All those who were injured were shifted to the nearest hospital,” said the Si.
The police registered the case below the 304-A IPC section (causing death from a rash or negligence) and 337 (causing injury due to rashes or negligence).
TSRTC MD, VC Sajjana said that because of the government’s vigilance of the RTC bus driver, the lives of the passengers were saved and they all flee with a minor injury.
The RTC MD appealed to motorists to push responsibly to prevent such an accident.
