Telugus celebrates Dasara in Doha

Hyderabad: Dasara is marked by pleasure and celebration by members of Telangana Welfare Association (TWA) in Doha, Qatar.
This is the second time the association celebrates the festival in Doha.
“It was the largest event after easing the restriction of Covid-19 by the Qatar government.
The festival is celebrated with parties and games for children and adults,” said President of Twa Khaja Nizamuddin.
The celebration was organized by TWA, which was affiliated with the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), under the AEGIS Indian Embassy in Qatar, he said.
The leaders of the elected Telugu community are free and prizes are served among the winners.
As part of the celebration, the family of the Telugu community gathered at the Al Dosari Zoo in Doha.
“This is the first time in Doha that large-scale Dasara celebrations have occurred, ” said Ziad Usman, President ICBF who was a major guest in the celebration.
