Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC K Sudhakaran President has started talks with senior leaders of Ramesh Chennithala and Chandy ommen to resolve the differences they have with new party leadership.
Both leaders have moved away from the party development process and not working with new leadership.
They have registered their protests with the high command party against reshuffle carried out by new country leadership.
It was in this background that the KPCC President met both senior leaders.
During the meeting, the two leaders were studied to agree to support leadership to continue the party’s reshuffle.
The leaders agreed to support after leadership explained that their demands would be taken care of while considering the carrier of the new party’s office.
After the meeting, Chennithala said that everything would be a smooth business at the party.
This shows that the temporary ceasefire has been achieved between senior leaders and leadership.
Previously, opposition leader V d Sathean had also encountered these two senior leaders to gather their support for the party revamp.
Learned that Sathean and Sudhakanan have explained that Ramesh and Chandy nominations will be given recognition when the KPCC secretary is being resolved.
Ramesh and Chandy have the view that because AICC has decided to do organizational polls, there is no need to change the party in the current country since the poll must be done here too.
However, KPCC’s leadership believes that organizational polls are a long process and will take a minimum of one year to solve it.
Therefore, until then, the party machine cannot die.
Meanwhile, AICC also gave a nod to the leadership of the KPCC to continue the reshuffle and this is the reason why the President of the KPCC took the initiative to seek support from senior leaders.
During the appointment of vice president, the General Secretary and DCC President, these two senior leaders have the view that their nomination is ruled out.
Therefore these two leaders did not cooperate with new leadership.
