VADODARA: The three-member search panel was formed to hunt otherwise (VC) New University MS studied to have a number of selected 10 candidates for the top post.
Search panels are led by the industrialist based in the city of Ajay Rana, who is the Nomination of MSU Chancellor Shubhangini Raje Gaekwad.
Two other panel members including J P Saini, Deputy Chancellor Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi and Pratapsinh Chauhan, Deputy Chancellor Shri Govind Teacher University, Godhra.
While Saini is nominee from the University Syndicate Agency, Chauhan is a candidate for the Chancellors of Gujarat council to the panel.
The source said the panel invited applications from academics from all over the country.
It has received bio-data from almost 80 candidates for that position.
The panel was learned to have a selected name about ten candidates the name of the three candidates will be selected again.
The three selected names will be recommended to the state government who will receive the last call to the candidate who will be appointed as the representative of the MSU Chancellor.
It is necessary to mention here that the term of office of Deputy Chancellor Parimal Vice Vice Parimal Vyas currently ends next month.
Vyas will finish his second term as a representative of MSU Chancellor.
