Vadodara: Covid-19 case continues to surge in the city and the Vadodara district on Monday even after lower sample testing.
Since the last three days, the number of fresh Covid-19 cases in the city and Vadodara Regency are in the range of 1,211 to 1,274.
It is believed that fresh Covid-19 cases have experienced stagnation because of lower sample testing.
But on Monday, however, fresh Covid-19 cases crossed 1,300 mark even when the sample tested on Monday night was much lower than the last two days.
As many as 1,211 cases were detected from 9,613 tests carried out on Saturday.
A day later, 1,242 people were tested positively from 9,875 tested samples.
However, Monday night, Vadodara registered 1,313 fresh Covid-19 cases even because the number of samples tested reached 8,967.
In fact, the sample tested in 24 hours ended on Monday night similar to those tested for a week to the back but the level of participants had increased threefold.
With new cases, the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic has touched 82,424.
New cases have been reported from Jetalpur, Bajwa, Warasiya, Diwalipura, Swad, Gotri, Chhani, Yamuna Mill, Tandalja, Sama, Akota, Harni, Sudamapuri, Fatehpura, Ramdevnagar, Manjalpur, Bapod and Waghodiya.
While the death toll officially was in 624, the number of patients stated out with 530 took the total amount of release to 74,615.
At present, Vadodara has 7,185 active cases 6,964 is a house isolation while 221 patients were hospitalized.
From them, nine patients were treated with ventilator / bi-pap support, 74 patients needed the support of oxygen while 44 patients were in the ICU but not on the ventilator.
There are 94 mild cases that do not need oxygen support.
5,222 individuals are under house quarantine.
After a long gap, the Covid-19 fresh case in the Western Zone VMC fell slightly.
The North Zone VMC saw the addition of 338 cases that took the total case in this zone to 14,160.
The West Zone contributed 336 fresh cases after that the total case touched 14,733.
The South Zone saw its calculation reaching 14,050 with the addition of 307 cases, while the total number of cases in the East Zone reached 11,732 with 226 new cases.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Rural Vadodara has reached 27,713 with the addition of 106 Covid-19 fresh cases on Monday.
