Testing Drops, TPR is still high in the district

Thiruvananthapuram: Covid testing has dropped dramatically in the district.
However, TPR was recorded at 47.4% on Monday.
The level of 6,908 tests was carried out in the district and produced 3,271 positive.
TPR for all tests in the government sector is 60%.
The positivity of RPCR in the government sector is also above 60%.
Daily TPR also showed an increase from 45.84% to 47.35%.
TPR in the district has been above 45% over the past six days.
As per conversion rate, 96% of active cases are under house quarantine in the district and only 3.87% of cases require hospital admission.
Conversion rates for ICU and ventilators are also low in the district.
As on Monday, the ICU occupancy was 0.29% in the regency while residential ventilator was only 0.1%.
