T'Gana comes with its own policy for the Omicron case

Hyderabad: Given the increase in the number of omicron cases, the state is set to escape the current central guidelines of 15 quarantine days mandatory for all patients and produce their own policies.
The state health authority supports that allows asymptomatic patients to remain at home while field surveys will be taken to track symptoms cases.
Making unworthy central policies, the health department states that since 95 to 97 percent of the omicron cases are expected to not show symptoms, placing everyone in the quarantine centers will be a waste of resources.
“Because they don’t have symptoms, they don’t need any treatment.
Instead, our concern is the remaining symptomatic patients who might need hospitalization.
Omicron variants spread quickly and bound to spread further.
In this scenario placing patients without symptoms.
In quarantine it may be useless.
Whose policy and central policy in this case are not feasible, “said Director of Public Health Telangana, Dr.
G Srinivasa Rao.
Proving the decision, the Director of Public Health said that all 20 patients were detected with Omicron variants and were recognized at the Telangana Medical Institute (TIMS).
“There is no clear basis in which they can be repatriated.
There is no recovery to base it because they have no symptoms in the first place.
At present, we follow the central guidelines to keep them for 15 days before we can release it.
However, there is no use of quarantine this.
Instead of this, policies must find symptomatic patients, test them, quarantine and treat it before it came out.
in Telangana, we would like to keep at it, “said Dr.
Srinivasa Rao.
