Hyderabad: The missing soldier Jawan, B Sai Kiran Reddy, who was found in unstable mental conditions in Kothagudem a few days ago, was undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
The police said Kiran was not in a condition to recognize even family members.
On January 28, local residents inform Kothagudem police about a man who seemed to experience mental disorders and live on open land for three days.
The locals also told the police that the man seemed very weak.
When the police approached him, he was reluctant to answer their questions and notify them that he lost his family members.
The police then checked his pocket and found the Aadhaar card.
Based on the detail in the Aadhar card, the police identified the man as Kiran Reddy and contacted his family in the village of Pothreddy at Cheryal Mandal Siddipet Regency.
Kiran’s father Patel Reddy along with his wife and their elder son Bhanu Prakash Reddy rushed to Kothagudem.
Kiran does not recognize his family members.
He wore the same clothes where he left pothhireddypally on December 5, 2021, to report assignments at Faridkot, Kothagudem police said.
After telling military officials, the police allowed family members to take Kiran for care at a private hospital.
“He underwent treatment but did not work together.
His mental condition was unstable.
He could not recognize family members or talk to them.
Family members can shift him into a military hospital in Secunderabad immediately,” said a police officer.
After leaving his village on December 5, Kiran took a flight to Delhi at the same night.
He entered Patalkot Express at 3.30 in the morning on December 6 at the Safdarjung train station.
Instead of going down at Faridkot, he got off the train two previous stops at Bathinda Station and returned to Delhi train station in a taxi.
Then, his movements were seen in Karimnagar and Kothagudem.
