Hyderabad: The Legislative Council of Telangana and the Assembly on Friday unanimously adopted the resolution urging the central government to take the caste-class census in the general census for 2021.
Chandrasekhar Rao’s Chief of Moving the resolution in assembly stating that it was needed to maintain accurate statistics To take welfare steps for the poorest of the poor.
Cm also mentioned how several state assemblies and political parties throughout the country have begun to ask the central government to take the Census of the BC caste and urge the center to take it with the census 2021.
CM said that BCS consists of 50% of the total population in Telangana and that there are Public opinion to ensure that justice is sent to them.
Next, Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy announced that the resolution was adopted in a round voice.
The KCR has supported the demand for class census backwards on October 5 in assembly and is also preferably resolution completion.
However, the central government has told the Supreme Court that conducting a census of class backwards together with the 2021 census is ‘administratively difficult and complicated’ and called for the exception of this information from Purview Census as a decision.
