New Delhi: Favorite Indian neighbors Thai holidays have finally been reopened for Desi tourists.
However, as there is now no air bubbles between India and Thailand because there are no commercial flights between them.
The two countries work on creating air bubbles, giving a strong breath for Indian flights too.
The Southeast Asia Magnet travel has been permitted to be fully vaccinated by visitors from 78 countries, including India, under the “Sandbox” program that lists the conditions for tourists.
Serum Institute of India (Covishield) is in the list of accepted vaccines that include, among other things, Pfizer and Moderna.
Indian tourists can be under “Phuket Sand Box and Samui Plus” program, said a senior Thai tourism official.
Although no quarantine needed under Phuket, there are conditions for Samui Plus (see the attached graphics).
The Royal Thai Embassy in Posting SM Wednesday is listed in the requirements under the Phuket Sandbox.
“Thailand and non-Thai citizens can now travel from India to Thailand through Phuket Sandbox.
(They) must complete vaccinations at least 14 days (before the trip).
