Ahmedabad: Two days after the city crime branch arrested a man Thaltej because he had 23.86 grams of Mephedrone worth Rs 2.38 lakh, the police on Friday said that a Mansa resident had been held in this case.
The third accusation, Pankaj Patel, works with pharmaceutical companies and is in process.
Police said that the first defendant, Ravi Sharma, who worked with a call center, was arrested at his residence in Arohi apartment behind the New York Tower at SG Road in Thaltej.
The police seized Mephedrone with a weight of 50 grams worth of Rs 5 Lakh from Mansa Man Asit Patel, a resident of Saga apartment in Tragad.
The PANKAJ provides drugs to accuse, according to the police.
Pankaj is believed to have produced drugs locally.
The police said that Sharma, who was addicted to Mephedrone, and Asit, who runs a wholesale drug business, young people targeted at points such as Vaishnodevi circles, Sindhu Bhavan Road, Gota, Tragad, and satellites.
They sell drugs in places such as tea shops or paan shops.
The source at the Crime Branch branch said that there was a drug seller network and some of them had been identified in the walled city area.
